AUGIE CALIJA

Augie has over twenty years of increasingly responsible experience in Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality control inspection.  From 2007 to 2018 Augie served as a Construction Inspector to the SFPUC, during which he supported numerous large water infrastructure projects under the Water System Improvement Program including water treatment plant upgrades, pipelines, pump stations, and valve lots.  Work included construction of new facilities, seismic retrofits, and efficiency upgrades.  His experience includes coordinating contractor work activities and schedule, attending daily and weekly contract schedule meetings, verification of reported quantities, approval of daily time sheets and invoicing, performance of daily inspections of contractor work, issuance of FCN and FCR for field modifications, and preparation of daily inspection and progress reports.
