Bay Corridor High Voltage Transmission & Distribution System

The objective of the $26M project was to install high voltage transmission power lines for supplying renewable energy to Muni, hospitals, schools, residents, and businesses located in the San Francisco Shipyard. JHCE Provided construction administration & document control support to the pre-construction, construction, and closeout project phases.
Key responsibilities included: issuing PCOs, maintaining force account work, inspection services, reviewing and coordinating submittals & RFIs, processing change orders, assessing risks, compiling contract closeout records, coordinating with public agencies & private businesses, verifying QA reports, conducting weekly progress meetings, ensuring contract work is being installed to terms, providing rough estimates, etc.; and reviewing CORs, traffic control plans, and contractor progress payment requests.
