Senior Civil Engineer
Christine has been in the civil engineering and water resources field for 20 years. She has been involved in the planning phase of numerous projects with the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) including developing alternatives analysis and conceptual engineering reports for the Bay Division Pipelines, Irvington Tunnel, and Crystal Springs Pipeline No. 2 Replacement. She implemented condition assessment on critical SFPUC transmission pipelines using existing information regarding pipeline age, leaks, and right-of-way and environmental issues, as well as performed field inspections and managed corrosion and condition assessment specialists. Recently, Ms. Ko has been involved in a variety of operations and maintenance related projects including analysis of flat rate fees for new water services, reconciliation of custom water service installations, materials management for capital improvement projects, and development of an engineering emergency action plan for the shoreline protection system at SFO. These have demonstrated her range of analytical skills and adaptability to different tasks.
