GREG YIM, PE

Greg is a degreed and licensed Electrical Engineer with more than 36 years of experience in the design and construction of power distribution, instrumentation and control, security, and telecommunications systems. He is capable of managing projects, leading design teams, and establishing and controlling project budgets. Greg was employed by East Bay Municipal Utility  District from 1992 to 2019, during which he served in numerous roles for the Engineering Department, Instrumentation, Power, and Control Systems Engineering Section, Plant Engineering Services Section,and  Asset Management Section.  He has served in lead roles for design efforts, and for the development of preventative and corrective maintenance plans. He has worked with Operations staff to develop control system functional descriptions, programed and configured PLC's, loop controllers, and distributed control systems, functionally tested control system programs and distributed control systems. He has witnessed field tests of electrical equipment and process instrumentation and control systems.
