New Headworks Facility For Southeast Water Pollution Control Plant

JHCE is providing construction management support to the New Headworks Facility Project at the Southeast Treatment Plant. The project is constructing a new Headworks facility, modifying the Bruce Flynn Pump Station, and constructing a new odor control structure. JHCE provided electrical and mechanical quality assurance inspections for the installation of temporary and permanent 12 KV lines, which included pulling, terminating, and hipot tests, installation of fiber, pulling, OTDR testing and terminations.  Under Scope 2, JHCE inspected the replacement and startup of pumps and VFDs, replacement/upgrade of existing main switchgear, and Installation and startup of new DSC system including support equipment.  JHCE also provided assistance with office engineering, construction contract administration, and civil inspection.
